Interactive Geospatial Tools for the Division of Plant Industry, Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services

Interactive geospatial tools developed by Florida’s Division of Plant Industry are improving how information is delivered to the people who protect our state's agriculture. Production examples include the Pest Incident Control System (PICS) application, Oriental Fruit Fly Industry and Residential online maps, the Apiary/Citrus Industry Link, and an Air Potato GeoForm. Concept examples include the Giant African Land Snail Parcel Viewer, Asian Citrus Psyllid Analysis Tables, Caribbean Fruit Fly Area Editor, Survey123 for various pests, and program-specific story maps, geocoder tools, and GeoForm surveys. These apps advance the way we protect our state's agriculture by streamlining the data collection process, and giving our employees and/or the public better access to their data.
