The 2019 Annual SHRUG GIS Workshop will provide a forum for sharing the latest GIS related technology, research and development activities. We bring engaging industry leaders from all around the southeastern United States, into a format which combines thought provoking talks, informative demonstrations, and lively, hands-on labs. This workshop will showcase ongoing GIS efforts in both government and private sector organizations, and will cover all levels of experience from beginner to expert. Not to mention that the venue- and even the food- are an experience in themselves.
No matter how long you've been in the business or what position you hold, chances are there is still something you need to learn. Trends, new strategies, and innovations are happening all around us; to stay up-to-date you need an educational opportunity that presents the latest geospatial technology.
While SHRUG is widely considered a grass roots organization of GIS users, it is important to note that without the generosity of our sponsors, we could not host an event like this. Please show your appreciation by visiting our sponsors at their booths and be sure to let them know just how much you appreciate their efforts to be here and support GIS users in our region.
